Our Representatives

We currently have two Daughters of Charity serving as NGO Representatives.

Sister Michelle Loisel, D.C.

Sister Michelle Loisel is a Daughter of Charity from the Province of St. Louise, USA. She is presently the NGO Representative at the United Nations in New York.

Sister Michelle’s service responsibilities have taken her to many countries, including India, Burkina Faso, Maroc, war-torn countries, and Haiti. Her experiences have included diverse roles ranging from direct service to administration, to advocacy. In each instance, Sister has sought to put her leadership skills to the service of those most in need. Sister Michelle is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. The position of NGO representative for the Daughters of Charity is a privilege she embraces daily with energy, commitment, and gratitude.

Sister Franca Edet, D.C.

Sister Franca Edet is a Daughter of Charity from the Province of Nigeria and is on mission to serve with the Sisters in Great Britain. She is currently the NGO Representative at the United Nations in Geneva where she participates in the global debates as it affect the needs of those who are poor and the centrality of the human person in the global agenda.

Sister Franca has a vast experience in ministering to people who are poor through education, evangelization, and spiritual accompaniment of youth at schools and parishes. She has creatively engaged with youth for the development of their faith, their skills in community volunteering, and the strengthening of family bonds to preserve their social and cultural integrity.

Sister Franca has great passion for hospitality and brings joy and happiness through the generous sharing of her skills in this area.
