This Christmas, as the world faces unprecedented challenges—wars, migration, climate crises, and deep inequalities—we are reminded that Christ’s coming is a light for all nations. It calls us to embody His message of peace, justice, and love, particularly for those on the margins of society.
At the United Nations, the Daughters of Charity continue to advocate for the dignity of all people, walking alongside those who are most vulnerable. Through our commitment to human rights, sustainable development, and care for creation, we work to ensure that hope shines brightly even in the darkest of times.
As we reflect on this sacred season, let us open our hearts to Christ’s invitation to “walk together”—in solidarity, compassion, and action—toward a world of greater harmony and inclusion.
